After looking at several music magazines most of them had a simple and plain layout, only using a few colours. I thought that I would follow this as well using only black, white and red as this would prove effective and very eye catchy. I looked at several fonts but the font Trebuchet MS looked very professional when designing a mock up of my contents page, so i thought i would per-sue and therefore use this in my final creation. The film strip idea come from a photo frame I had at home, I thought that this would look funky on the page and I feel I have pulled this off very well. I decided to use red as it contrasts well with the black making it stand out and making it clearly visible for the audience to see what page that specific topic is on. I am very confident and feel that my contents page does look very professional.
