As Haider visualised a layout, I had the chance to extract those ideas he possessed from his mind. Quickly we laid out the pictures and used the vector mask tool to blend in the upper part of the front cover to the pictures background. Why? This was because the picture it self could not fill the whole a4 page without being distorted.
Slowly using the paint brushes that we originally used for each issue's logo, I aligned and made sure that the layer was perfect for the audience to see. Slowly I laid down the text making sure that the colours were contrasting to the background.
I've developed my knowledge using the tools on Photoshop and now have a full understanding of what each tool is capable of.
NB. the only editing on this picture was the 'Soul' which we added an effect; outer glow.
